I think I’m going to rewatch a bunch of RagnarRox video essays today. He’s one of my favorite YouTubers, he mostly covers video games, but his analysis’ are always very thoughtful and wide-ranging. His videos on the manga of Junji Ito and his deep dives on the Pathologic games are particular favorites.
I’d recommend this video as a good one to start with (though if you haven’t read and seen Solaris or played Silent Hill 2… well, THERE’S NEVER BEEN A BETTER TIME TO DO SO)
